Scroggins: graduation a marker of sending out workers for the harvest field

The 128 graduates of Boyce College fulfill the vision of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary founder James Petigru Boyce to train ministers and send them out across the world, James Scroggins said at Boyce commencement May 9.

"Part of his vision was that men and women from different social environments and different academic backgrounds and different economic sectors of society would have an opportunity to come and to study and train so that they could take the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world," Scroggins, dean of Boyce College, said of James Boyce.
